HUM Killer Nails™

Back in March I was contacted by the people from HUM nutrition to review their Killer Nails™ vitamins. At first I was hesitant, while I had heard of the brand I wasn’t quite sure the $20 price tag would make the vitamins that much better than the drugstore vitamins I was currently using for my hair and nails. After giving it much thought I decided to go ahead with the review, and I am so happy I did!

Now I know what you’re thinking, for a month where’s the growth? About a week after I started taking the pills I split the nail and had to file it essentially back to where I started, and during the week I put on my acrylics to give me length for my vacation. I took off my acrylics the week after I got back and reshaped the nail (somehow my nails grow all crooked when I have acrylics on), which took down some of the length. While I don’t have much length to show for this before and after I will say that the appearance of my nails looks much better, the new growth seems to be thicker ( genetically I have incredibly thin, weak nails) and I also noticed my hair grew much faster. Based on the results I had, I feel that 30 days may not have been enough for me, so I purchased another bottle myself to continue using them. I have kept my acrylics off and hope that I will finally be able to grow out my nails and keep them long without enhancements.

Price and availability: These are available for $10 (30 day supply) at HUMnutrition.com or $20 (60 day supply) at Sephora.com
