Today I have the first of 4 nail arts using the OPI Hello Kitty collection. This collection has a really nice mix of brights, pastels and sparkle and all of the had a nice, easy to work with formula.
5 Apples Tall is a bright cherry red creme, opaque in 1-2 coats.
My Pal Joey is a bright blue creme, opaque in 1-2 coats.
My Twin Mimmy is a bright true yellow creme, opaque 1 coat. Yes, a one coat yellow!!!
Super Cute in Pink is a purple toned pink crelly, opaque in 2 (maybe 3) coats.
I created this marble using 5 Apples Tall, My Pal Joey , My Twin Mimmy , Super Cute in Pink over a white base.
These marbled exceptionally well, and I really like how these turned out! They remind me of tie-dye or psychedelic 70′s nails.
I do want to add one thing about the bottles in this collection… while I LOVE the super cute cap, it is a shrink wrap label NOT a specialty cap. If you want to preserve it I would remove the label (simply slide it off) before using then put it back on after use. Otherwise if polish or acetone gets on it, it will ruin the plastic.
