Super excited to show you guys today’s swatch!! I know I’ve posted tons of multichromes lately so I wanted to switched it up with one of the most fabulous holos I’ve seen in a long time. I picked up this beauty, ILNP Mega(L), from the new Fall collection and I wasn’t even prepared for how gorgeous it really is!
Now that I own several different holos I’ve become very selective when it comes to getting new ones and I was a bit hesitant to get this thinking it was just like ones I already own. However, I’m so glad I picked this up because it is by far the smoothest, strongest and easiest to apply holo I have. By comparison, I thought the Color Club Halo Hues were very smooth, especially when compared to Layla’s holos, but next to Mega(L) they almost look scattered (as seen on my ring finger)! The particles in Mega(L) are so fine it just looks like a smooth polish that has a magical finish rather than pigment that has a holo effect. The only down side (of course there has to be 
) is, it’s sheer. It’s not sheer enough to wear as a holo topper, I tried that and it pretty much covered the base color, but needs at least 3-4 coats on it’s own to achieve full coverage. For this swatch I applied 3 coats over OPI Push and Shove, ring finger is 2 coats Color Club Harp on It over OPI Push and Shove. This did seem to dull a bit after top coat so I would strongly recommend the top coat sandwich ( base color, Mega(L), TC Mega(L)), otherwise without top coat it did chip fairly quick.
